you should make a shortcut to the exe instead of dragging the exe out of the folder
I'm sorry not trying to be annoying but how do you do that???
Right click the exe, click view more options if you are on windows 11, then click create shortcut. Then you can drag that shortcut onto your desktop
And by exe you mean the thing I'm tring to move do my desktop?
