the test level needs to be paused for you to be able to leave the menu. You can pause it by tapping the pause button on the top right corner.

Right click the exe, click view more options if you are on windows 11, then click create shortcut. Then you can drag that shortcut onto your desktop

you should make a shortcut to the exe instead of dragging the exe out of the folder

How will mario win is ai generated (as a joke) but not the others

on the level select screen, press the star button to open a menu containing those options. I understand that it is hard to find so thr button is being removed in the next update (and the options will always be visible on that screen)

Does the spring not work for you in that level? Like when you jump on it does it not bounce you up?

Yeah I totally understand! We definitely gave ourselves too much work for the update, so we will try to release updates more frequently from now on. I'm hoping that now that we have all the major features implemented, we can mainly focus on making new levels (we are currently working on a bug fix update though)

Press escape key to pause (you might have to press it multiple times on the web version), and then click Quit

Sorry that it took you a while to find those options! We will likely either be removing the star button altogether (and having those options always visible on the level select screen) or doing some other thing to make those settings more visible

Don't worry, it's not you, the game is just really hard. Remember there are some settings you can use to help you, like infinite lives and checkpoints

I just found this game, I had no idea someone tried making level up's animations playable before I did (https://bookwormkevin.itch.io/lummm), and we both made the Goomba Pyramid level lol. Good game

It is 1.0.3 because it does not a significant amount of content. Basically I'm reserving the minor updates (like 1.1) for when I add new levels. Yes you can argue it should be 1.1 but it doesn't really matter that much. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_versioning

If you look in the settings you can see what the controls are. Arrow keys or wasd for moving, left shift is run and space is jump. I would like to know what unity errors you are getting, maybe you can send a screenshot of it?

well I did fix a bug with the lever where if you close it, it won't open again so maybe that's why lol
