Nice little game, wish there was some more animations though and some attacks that didn't require ap points (Found myself doing a lot of switching around and resting).  Good work though :) 

YES, more animations definitely! I had some additional attack animations done (but no time to implement), and I was working on character animations, but this is my first time animating and holy cow - hand-drawn character frames are crazy hard! (At least for me, a new non-animator lol.) We eventually realized I didn't have enough time to animate everyone (I also got crazy sick for a week), so we sadly went with static sprites for consistency.

I've continued working on my animation workflow since the jam, trying rigging and keyframe stuff so that I can speed things up for next time. I'm hoping I can find a reliable method for animating realistic sprites (versus little pixel characters) within a software that doesn't support bones/rigging lol. If we do "Continue-It" for this game, maybe we can get some/all of the animations in there! That'd be pretty cool. In any case, I've certainly learned a lot along the way, so it's been great information and a fun experience overall.
