Yo, you're being too harsh on yourself! The turret is extremely satisfying to watch auto-shoot for you, and you've already got core elements of the game functioning -- the walking animation loop, the firing animation, bullet collisions with the enemy etc. I'm assuming you might've gotten frustrated with connecting the arms to the rotating gun? You clearly accomplished a lot in a short period of time, and I wouldn't think too much about the disappointment -- that happens, and I personally have a ton of unfinished games myself.

If you wanted to finish it, you could take out the character and just control a turret. Or turrets auto-shoot and you get to place/upgrade turrets. In any case, I think the game looks pretty cool. If you decide to, you could build on it and release on itch anyways. Or if you decide not to, you still ought to be proud. I can tell this took a lot of time!

he turret system is definitely one of my favorite parts, and I’m glad it feels satisfying to watch it work. And yeah, getting the arms to sync up with the rotating gun was tough completely gave up on that part. You have a great game btw i will come back too play it if you add any more levels
