Indeed, I would say that a major element would be that you can joke whenever even if things are terrible, and even when things are terrible you can make jokes. You might be having the worst day of your life while everyone around you is partying and you might be having a wonderful day while a coworker is going through a traumatic period of their life. To some degree we just have to keep on moving and focus on what's in front of us, because the world is gonna keep on spinning whether we want it to or not, eh?
