It's great idea, whit cool immersive things, but need more hints for side quest like: "find lost dog".

The dog is not far in the woods, and yet, as if he sank into the ground. ;)

i find dog, but i run in random direction about 30 minutes. I think this dog lost in town, not in mine. And after i save them error log appeared and battle don't end.

You are right. While I don't want the quest journal to be some omnipotent item, that hands you all the answers on a silver platter, the description of this quest is way too vague.
I'll make changes to it. Also, could you specify what issue did you run into when trying to save the dog?

Hi there, I think I'm running into a similar issue when doing the fight, this error message pops up after my first attack. Tried ignoring but after beating the fight the dog stays there. Hope this is useful?

Looks like in my situation.

Yes, this is very useful! From the looks of things it seems that you were slower than both of the bats, and they inflicted you with poison on their first turn.
The issue seems to be that scripted battles(ones in which enemies are predefined, rather than randomly generated based on the area encounter table) do not process damage over time effects properly, so when you ended the turn by attacking(turns in this game are incremented once everyone on the battlefield acted), instead of reducing your health due to poison damage, it crashed.
This makes it much easier to address the issue, thank you for posting it!

Maybe if you don't need omnipotent item in journal, you can add NPC whit information, like a questgiver or witness.
And now i cannot send you log whit error, because no more appeare, but dog event don't dissapeare and if you enter in event-battle it's gain you autowin and drop back in cave.
