It's Sarah Kerrigan vs the UEF. That's it. That's the novel.
Well, okay, it's half the novel - the other half is hot sex scenes with a girl who can rewrite people's biology to turn them into hot aliens (and trans their gender if they want), and there's a layer of cyberpunk hypercapitalist theming to round it out and establish that the bad guys deserve to have Sarah zerg-rush all over them. But I really can't exaggerate how much it's borrowing from Starcraft and Supreme Commander.
(There's even a throwaway gag where Sarah not-Kerrigan is deciding what to call her new ranged combat unit. She tries to call it a "hydralisk," but changes her mind when she finds out it's copyrighted.)
That being said, the writing is pretty solid. It does a good job of depicting an RTS-style army in a way that sounds cool instead of contrived or game-y. And DragonCobolt continues to be good at writing hot sex scenes. So like, I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do a porn parody of famous RTS games, I'm just saying that it's very upfront about what it's doing.
