I really enjoyed the series of investigations led by the protagonist throughout the story. I especially appreciated how everything culminated in the ending, which was both heartwarming and sad.

I got them both, but I was talking about the ending where the MC forgives the priest when I used "sad" and "heartwarming" to describe it.
