i feel it may just be better to give up. I'm sure it's an amazing game, and I really wanted to play it, but if I can't get it to work, is there really any point to keep trying?
What operating system do you have? You installed the DirectX update I linked? Installed the latest version? Updated graphics drivers? Other then that I don't know why it isn't working for you.
