This is a good game, and I would love for it to see it grow. The waking up to that muscular man was hilarious.

Sorry, I couldn't play the game before the jam ended, I was on vacation for the last few days of the rating period and there were a ton of requests.

As promised, here are my thoughts on the game:

  • The game has a unique feel to it. The atmosphere was good, the visuals were consistent. The "something strange is going on" effect was there.
  • I personally am not a fan of just jumpscares. I understand that this game had to be made quickly, and there was little time. But if you are focusing on building the game even further, I would recommend you to add more interesting experiences, than just jumpscares. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing technically wrong with your jumpscares, but I feel like it's being overused in every horror game and I personally am not a fan of it.
  • I would love to hear more sound effects. And more interactions. Like you could flush the toilet, whenever you want. Maybe have a tiny operating system in the computer. You could add story elements here as well. Perhaps pictures of the characters family, or Asbjørn. This makes the player feel more as if they are a part of that world.
  • I recommend adding sounds to the Main menu as well, the button sounds, an ambience are all appreciated.
  • I also recommend adding ability to skip intro dialogues as well. For people who dies in-game, and wants to get to the game again quickly, this option would save their time a lot. Also sound effects for the dialogues would also be welcomed heartfully

Overall, the game has promise. It needs more time and love, to fully be able to communicate what the game has to tell, and I would really recommend you to continue working on this. Good job on completing the submission, and sorry for not being able to play the game before the jam ended. All the best.
