Hello! I'm working on a NaNoRenO one-month VN: A Friend in the Funny Business!
The short pitch: it's a conversational VN about reconnecting with your former coworker who now works as a freelance clown. There's a little plot, a little drama, but mostly, the atmosphere is cute, positive, conversational, and occasionally funny. 馃槉
I'm mostly keeping everything in a scope I can complete myself, but if you're interested in being part of the team, I've got the following positions open that could help out. Please respond here, ideally with your socials and/or examples of your work, if interested!

Background artist (1):
Artist to draw the few backgrounds needed. Most of the VN takes place in a diner booth, so that's the big one. Other than that, I could also use a diner entrance, a diner kitchen, and a parking lot set at night time. This is a role I'll handle myself if I have to, but you could help me save time and let me focus on sprites and other things! Goal would be to vaguely match the character art style in the below screenshots, in pastel colors that will not distract from the characters. The latest I could wait for the backgrounds is about March 28th, but you'd have all the info needed to start right away.
(GUI is not final, I can certainly tweak it as works with the updated backgrounds)

Voice actors (1):
Two One character who will have voiced cut-in lines (think short lines that occur when characters pop-in or change sprites) if I can find VAs. Voice lines should ideally be in mp3 format. It would be a very short turn around, I'd have the lines and plenty of context to you by this Sunday (16th) and would need your lines by the following Sunday (23rd).
+Big Al, the diner owner, a big and surly guy who is a penny pincher, but secretly has a soft side. This role is filled!
+Suzy Q, the diner waitress, a crabby woman who is a friend of the main heroine, but also has a crippling fear of clowns. All roles now filled!
I've already got a VA for the main heroine herself!
