while those are good horror games, I think you hit the nail on the head with this one, even if you never intended it. nothing really has animations except for the guy at the end, so you get lured in to a fall sense of security of thinking everything is still and the big scare is gonna be small, but then the guy actually comes after you. I think the way the screen just abruptly cuts to black and justs let you linger on what just happened also helps. while games like RE are scary in the sense that a big 'ol monster is coming after you, this is scary in the sense that you're absolutely defenseless and just praying that nothing bad happens to you while knowing that something bad is absolutely about to happen to you. I think thats one of the reasons FNAF got so popular anyway, so yeah. (what is bluddy waffling about)
