I honestly really love this game. It has that same soothing effect that a game of solitaire gives. You have to use your brain, but there's no stress, and you get to sort out stuff. The music and ambience is also so nice! Even the sound effects are very wisely chosen and they don't get annoying at any point.

I hope we can get a "quit" option before starting the day, though? If that's possible (At the menu where you can choose upgrades.) Or maybe it's already there I just missed it.

The "hockey stick" shaped parcels tend to cover the display on the weight scale, but it's easy enough to move away.

Anywho, it's such a great game. I love to just jump into my endless save and feel the perfect balance of relaxing and having to use my brain.

Thanks so much! Most of the audio was captured with a portable field recorder -- the waves are from Lake Ontario in spring, and a good chunk of the paper/moving item sounds were recorded hunched under a comforter. We're hoping to add seasonal ambiance/music, gotta wait for June though to capture crickets at night :)

Yeah, there's no "quit" option in that scene atm, but we'll prob add in a normal esc menu at some point that can be accessed across all scenes. It wouldn't save the day's progress though, unless that's the goal?

Ohh wow, I did not know that about the sounds! That is amazing! :-O

The esc / saving was mainly just cause I usually end up feeling "finished" at the menu before you start the new day, lol. And then I feel committed once I start a new day and quit from the book, haha. It's honestly not an issue or anything, I just found it curious that there wasnt a "save and exit" option in between the days. Either way, I'm enjoying this game so much. It's such a great way to decompress. + All those envelopes  and cute stamps make me want to send letters, lol

Ooh makes sense! We'll note it down for the future, but atm it makes things a lot simpler for us (and reduces bugs) to just have one auto-save at the start of the day -- there's a bunch of things/positions/upgrades/etc to keep track of and we haven't yet added support for saving all that mid-scene.

Aw, so happy to hear! Definitely recommend getting a fountain pen and sending some postcards <3
