A very surprising and great game. Loved the ship building, even though it took me a bit of time to understand how it works. Starting money seems a bit lackluster, but at least you have a very cheap and OP Wiper weapon and a free lazer weapon - so that's cool.

The thrusters need some sort of visual indicator for "where it's thrusting". I did figure out that "fire comes from the black notch", but it was a bit of an trial and error process.

Took me WAY too long to realize I need to go "under the blanket" for the level to start - because at first I was trying to fight the blue pillars, especially since they have damage indicators.

Ship may start thrashing around the builder screen if you weld diagonally placed elements to each other, so that may be a bug.

Definitely needs some balance, cuz I don't think you can get too far with the starting money and without the "cheat" weapons.

Other than that - a really, really cool idea and a great execution. Loved it, and looking forward to the next demo!

Thank you, these are some good insights! Realizing there's a lot of things like the thruster direction and the testhall exit that I'm so acquainted with that I'm a little blind to how unclear they could be. The wiper and laser were accidentally left in the shop from a test too lol. Will probably disable grid snapping while diagonal since there's no way I know of for parts to line up properly anyway.

And I do want it to start out biasing towards "too difficult" and then let the player upgrade their starting stats/parts/starter money accordingly, but right now the upgrades system is too easy to miss or forget, being on the title menu.
