The new estimation can be lower depend on the player stats since he game recalculate the estimation again, I know that seems weird, I'll see what I can do on this. 😅

About the chance, does the notification when she found no eligible item also rarely shown?

I think its shown "no item to repair" twice maybe.

So is the value issue based on the "competence" stat as well? That one seems the most confusing one to understand to me at least.

Yes, the new value is calculated based on the competence, and the estimation accuracy can change, it definitely need to be improved

Yup, she ends up costing more than she earns back. Also is there a way that I can keep an item but not have it for sale? That way I could try and have at least one repairable item at all times.

hmm, marking an item not for sale could be a good improvement, I'll see what I can do on this for the next update

And maybe some super rare "artifact" items that offer stat buffs? They'd probably need to be pretty high in price and mid/late game.
