Here’s the typical workflow for submitting a project on itch.io:

Publish the project page – First, you need to publish your project’s page on itch.io.
Go back to the jam page – Then, return to the Game Jam’s page.
Use the submit button – There, you’ll find a "Submit" button.
Select your project – After clicking it, a dialog will appear where you can choose your project from your itch.io library and submit it to the jam.
