Good Stuff

Movement controls are fluid and responsive. Having an accessible controls menu is great to see in a jam game.

The goals of the game and what you're able to do within the world are simple and straightforward.

Both the art and music work harmoniously. It has a relaxing, cozy mood. All of the models are cohesive, and the color palette fits perfectly.

While there isn't much to do in the game presently, it is a solid start to an enjoyable experience. I spent a fair amount of time in the game trying to progress.

Stuff to Consider

Petting a dragon doesn't seem to do anything, and if it does there is no feedback. This might be better left out of the game until it has a function.

Thank you! Happy to hear you enjoyed it.

That's a fair point about petting. It actually speeds up their growth so they will evolve faster. It definitely could use a more obvious indication of this. (Feeding also reduces the growth time)

Edit: Oh, and the first pet you give to a dragon will insta-grow the youngest of your in-progress crops. This also is a hidden feature that needs some sort of indicator somewhere haha. Once a dragon evolves, the petting counter is reset so the first pet on the evolved form will grow another crop.

I'm so glad it has a purpose! That's great.
