I'm not sure how to play this game. I hired miners and assigned them to mines but I make no money. I tried to ship and sell coal but was unable to trade. Obviously I don't get how this game works. I was reading the instructions but it still doesn't make sense. Besides there is no replay button and the settings button is not working.

Hey, once you've hired miners, you drag and drop them into the mines. This only works for the miners, not the mechanics. They will mine coal once they are in a mine. When you go to the trading tab, you can use the + and - buttons to ship coal to the different markets, but only if you have enough money to cover the shipping costs. Once the coal has arrived at the market, you can sell it and make money :) Hope that helps.
