is,, is mari okay? WDYM SHE ALMOST GOT HIT BY A CAR 😭😭

Yayyy I’ve slept and ready to yap >:) I may or may not be running on minimal sleep but still- I’m not sure wym by excerpt but I’m using context clues so I made short stories mb 💀 - basically the bold is the lines the va has said I have no idea what to do with 1 + 2 Maeve bc she has a French accent and I have a very specific idea of what she sounds like but I can’t find a French voice actor that does like soft or more gentle voice and I’m actually crashing out about it 😭

Step 3 + 4 Maeve: Plumette/Fifi from Beauty and the Beast Disney Movie Cartoon

 Maeve looks around her new penthouse, large space, white walls all around and a wall made completely made of reinforced glass. It’s all she ever wanted…right…?

She rubbed her neck as she watched the movers move her stuff. She liked her old apartment it was small and cozy. Everything here was to…new, nothing feels like home to her, but it’s unlike she has a choice. Her manager said she needed to move for her safety from fans, yeah…

She shook her head, fidgeting awkwardly, she’d not sure what’s supposed to do exactly. Everyone around her had a place, a job that needed to be done. she was just…there. Maeve picks up their bag of personal belongings and headed towards the back, a feeling of unease settled in her stomach, this was her dream, she was going to be a singer, safety is first…always…

She pulled out things, her blanket since they had since she was a baby, their scrap book, a candle, and a two lighters.

She held the blanket up to her nose, calming her nerves slightly, she’s still near home, near Mama and Qiu and Tammy, but for how much longer? 

She shook her head, d pulling such thoughts. And grabbed the lighters. She just needed to clear her head with her favorite scent, it always took her back to home. It was her moms favorite scent, vanilla and honey, and smelled like a dessert. She grabbed the red lighter and shook her head, chuckling to herself, “Oh no no no no no, I’ve been burned by you before,” 

She grabbed the blue lighter and let he candle, sighing softly. She’d be alright. She had to be, she had to be…

Step 1 Haruki: Strawberry crepe cookie 

This guy was really getting on his last nerve. 

He tried, actually TRIED this time to listen to his ‘directions’. Following instead of taking the lead. He knew it wasn’t going to end well. Because who’s a better leader than him in all of Golden Grove?! Supposedly his new ‘friend’. According to Qiu he needed to, ‘spread his wings, make some new friends’ try not to be so judgy. More like new ENEMY.

Haruki is sweaty, tired, bored and REALLY fighting the urge to strangle this dude, Jim? Jupiter? Jackson? Whatever it was it was irrelevant just like his need to be in the middle of a FOREST searching for some DUMB MYSTERY PLACE-

“We’re almost there,” John said, a proud puff in his figure. But haruki could tell that he was lying. Because John was not a good liar.

“Yeah….suuuuuure,” Haruki rolled his eyes, stepping over a sharp stick, that he wasn’t planning to use at all if this was all for nothing-

Jillian groaned, “Just trust me okay? I’ve got this feeling in my gut-“

Haruki snapped back, “And I’ve got a feeling of hunger in my gut, but you don’t see me leading you on a wild goose chase to a restaurant?!” He stomped, on an rock, it hurt, but he didn’t let it show.

“If we don’t leave soon I’m going BACK home to CIVILIZATION because I am NOT built for the outdoors! I could get RABIES? RABIES, MY PRETTY FACE MARRED MY RABIES?!”

Justin groaned, “Do you even know what rabies is?” Looking left, right, left again, then continuing forward.

Haruki spluttered, his ears tipped pink, “Uh, yeah, duh?! Psh, of course I do!” He hoped that his hair covered his ears enough, he knew his own tell, unlike like Justina over there,

Jasmine deadpanned, “You’re lying,” crossing his arms, causing the jacket to wrinkle

“Hey! Are you calling me a liar??? Rude! I don’t have to listen to this nonsense, I’m outta here, have fun getting lost!”

Haruki marched away, flicking his hair behind him, “Later Joli. We aren’t gonna work out.

Step 2 Haruki: Hunter from Owl House 

Haruki crouched low, watching little bug win the forest. Was it his cup of tea? Absolutely not, he’d rather be inside playing video games. Instead he was out here, in the forest. But he was determined to heal his friendship with Tamarack, no matter how…unpleasant it what.

He nodded, trying to follow along with what Tamarack was saying about some frog. It’s kinda cute, in an ugly sorta way. Something that you’d hate so much to the point you love them, reverse psychology or whatever the hell it’s called.

He scratched his neck, cocking his head to the side, the frog, looked like a gremlin and a bumpy stick had a baby, if that made any sense.

Haruki fiddled with his earring, coming back to the conversation, nodding along as he asked Tammy about their eating habits, desperate trying to keep down his lunch as the frog slapped its eyeball with his tongue. 

Haruki spared a glance at Tamarack with a soft smile, he’d been well…a shitty person to be honest, he admits that. But he’d been able to win back Qiu’s favor, mostly they share bromance, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t rekindle his bromance with Tammy, bromance exceeded all genders.

He yawned, nose scrunching as the frog hopped closer. Fighting the urge to punt it across the yard, for Tammy’s sake.

Then out of nowhere Tammy held up the frog and showed it to him, he jumped back, startled. The stench from that thing is so putrid, absolutely horrendous his mouth slipped before he could catch himself, “EUGH that think smells awfull why are you touching it with your hands?!”

Step 3 and 4 Haruki (Beta Testing): Ryuji Sakmoto from Persona 5

Haruki was a good friend. The best best friend he’d say. He cleared the day to help Qiu get ready for the ‘not date’ with Maeve. The person they’ve been crushing on longer since he’s known the dude. 

Qiu is awesome don’t get him wrong. He’s nice, funny, popular, the problem they are absolutely clueless when it comes to love, insert Haruki, the aroace Cupid nobody knew they needed. 

Haruki had already given them a premise of what to do, ‘Compliment, pay for whatever, NEVER tell them what they should get, politely suggest’ the basics for their ‘not date’. 

It’s a blessing that that Maeve is a sweetheart who has a blatantly obvious crush on Qiu that she tried deny, or Qiu would not have a chance.

Now it was just time to wait for Qiu to show up, he said he borrowed his clothes, and as much as he loved Mr. Lin, he had no sense of style, at all.

His mom was out at work, so they had he entire house to themselves, minus Lola, the deranged chihuahua he had in the cage, didn’t need the ankle biter hurting Qiu before the meet up with Maeve

The door bell rang.

Finally damn, for someone who’s lives in the neighborhood over it took Qiu 30 minutes to arrive after said time chosen.

Haruki hopped up from the bed, checking his appearance in the mirror, skincare has been keeping his skin clear and glossy, hair is amazing per usual, and his clothes, even if no one really was seeing him, were top notch. 

He went to the front door, and swung it open, blinked once, twice, and wheezed out in laughter. Qiu looked back, trying to be unamused but a smirk played on his lips.

“Dude what’s with the belt, you looks like you got kicked out of as Magic act,”

Sorry for the long response (can u tell I like writing stories??) 😭 🙏 I’m prob gonna change step 3 and 4 Haruki because I’m not in love in love but I can’t find anything else yet but who knows also I did not proof read do mb for the mistakes 😔
