Thanks for the feedback! Actually what you can't do is win in this game. You can leave things as they are and not destroy the planets in this planetary system, but there is no other ending. The "nothing can go wrong" theme is twisted to "everything will go wrong because of you". Also, for terraforming all you need is building resources, I'll add it to the warning you get.
