im unable to open the doubledoors on the top floor i have the first eight characters and did the first two planets but i cant open them?

Have you tried starting a new campaign? It’s very short, so you’ll reach that point again in just a few minutes.
I ran into a similar issue at the exact same point before, and it was related with not using the official version of the game. I ended up buying it directly from the developer, and after that the problem was completely resolved.
