The game was really fun, but the controls feel a bit messy. An actual tutorial would be much more helpful than just text. You could also improve the controls by making the fishing area rotate with the boat, maybe making it a bit bigger and closer to the boat. It would also help if it was clearer where the boat is aiming, so players don’t have to think about it too much.
I really like that you only need the keyboard, since many games in this jam required the mouse and were harder to play on a laptop.
I didn’t really understand if there was a time constraint or what caused Lotan to kill me.
Overall, it was fun, and it felt really satisfying to catch fish!
