Glad to hear you liked the art! I absolutely agree that the game needs hints, it's really unclear what some ingredients are and therefore the player won't be able to deduce what they should mix. You are absolutely right about the retrying cycle, the game would benefit a lot more from a snappy restart rather than the current slow fade in and out.
I'm not sure if I'll be returning to the development of this game, but I'll definitely expand upon it's systems and implement them in my future games. Feel free to check out my future projects if you'd like!
