Episodes 02 and 03 has been tested thousands times by now. If the "NEXT EPISODE" button didn't show up for you it means you did't finish all the events in the current episode yet.
(It may be fault for making things a bit too convoluted in the earlier episodes, but I assure you: no button means only one thing - uncompleted events).
