1: that's quite impossible as gel doesn't load without using the commands. If you don't want to type the commands each time put them in a file called startup.txt and put it in the mods folder.
2: That doesn't really have anything to do with GEL? I also have other stuff that I'm working on right now when I am modding, for example there's a new update for GEL that I still need to finish up
