Loved this game so much as i was able to progress more than i have but how do you get the fire sword in the basement, ik you need to get gloves but where can i find this?
To obtain the Flame Greatsword, you must first acquire the Magic Glove and also obtain a torch from one of the rooms on the first floor. The Magic Glove can be obtained by clicking on a large lid in the room with the magic circle on the first floor.
