Thanks. Yeah, of course. So the way I use them is like this:

  1. There are three parts, the background, the fill and the foreground. The “follow” bar is optional and the same as the fill bar.
  2. In the engine, after importing them, add them to the same container on top of each other and set the size of the bar.
  3. Make sure to use nine-slicing or nine-patch for the sprites depending on which engine you are using. This will make sure that you can stretch the sprites without the pixel art being scaled incorrectly and keeping it crisp.
  4. Then via code, you can simply resize the “fill” bar sprite to match the value of the health.

If you need engine specific instructions, please let me know which engine you are using and I’ll be happy to explain further.

And if you need help with the coding side of things, I can help with that too.

Hope this helps. :)

It would be amazing if you could add presets to the pack, like Main Menu Preset, Health Bar Preset, Settings Preset, ECT. (Like all the full scenes you showcase) I think this would be helpful for everyone including me (if possible)

Hi. Sorry for the late reply over the weekend. I’d be happy to create these. Could I ask which engine you would prefer the examples in?

I am using Unity and my Unity Version is 6000.0.37f1

Hey. It’s going good. Sorry for it taking a bit longer than expected. Working on it in-between other project deadlines so time is scarce, but I hope to have it done in the next few days.
