Hello! I couldn't help noticing that the moment I begun this game, a song begun to play that was very familiar to me! As it happens, I live on the Isle of Man and the song you used in the intro cutscene is called "The Moddey Dhoo", and is a traditional Manx folk song which I have heard many a time. I loved how folkelore-y the game was too, I love that kind of thing! If you're interested I would love to discuss Manx folklore with you. Frankly the game could well have taken place on the Isle of Man, it all very much reminded me of local folklores and tales I have heard whilst living here. If you do make another game like this, please consider setting it on our little isle.
Hey, sorry for the late reply, I somehow missed this comment. I rearranged various snippets from a Gaelic vocal library so thanks for letting me know the origin of this song. Moddey Dhoo is the Manx version of the ghostly black dog legends, right? Turned out to be a pretty fitting choice for the witcher finder riding into town if so! I lived on Skye for a number of years so I had more Skye on my mind making the game but I'm sure Isle of Man would have been a perfect setting as well. Thanks very much for playing and sharing the info about the song!
