This is a very charming app and my chat and I have had a lot of fun with it so far!
Only issue is I just started having a problem: for the last two streams, whenever I open the app it clears ALL of my custom items for some reason and I don't know how to prevent the app from doing that. I've tried reconnecting my twitch account but that hasn't helped

That's very strange, though. Your custom items are saved locally and shouldn't have anything to do with Twitch connection. There's ways to make different item profiles, at the very bottom of the settings menu if I remember right. It's possible yours got corrupted somehow, or didn't save correctly. Or maybe defaulted to the wrong one for some reason?
I can't look at the folder structure right now (not at my computer) but there should be a folder within the Item Flood folder that stores all the saved data, it could be worth checking what files are in there.
In case you didn't see it, this version of Item Flood will stop working this April anyway because Twitch is depreciating the API stuff I used in it but I'm trying to have a new version released before then. So even if we can't figure out what's causing your issue, it hopefully won't happen in the new version anyway.
hey, i'm so sorry i didnt get back to this comment. i hadn't logged back into my account in a while and by the time you responded to this comment, i managed to find out the reason for the issue! turns out, they weren't saved correctly and the app was loading two versions - one with the custom items and one without. i cleared it all up, thank you for helping!
but unfortunately... there's another issue now. the app is constantly loading an authorization error on the app itself, despite the twitch authorization saying it loaded successfully. i've tried reloading and reconnecting my account, but it remains the same.
I saw you commented on the other chain of comments too so you're probably aware that the program at this time doesn't work anymore.
Twitch depreciating the PubSub ended up being at a very inopportune time for me health-wise. That feature is part of how Item Flood confirms you're using an authorized user (if the PubSub confirmed your info was correct and connected then the app would consider itself ready).
I have the updated fix in-progress though but no timeline for release. Thank you again for using and appreciating Item Flood!
