The latest version is 1.2.0-alpha2. Nothing substantial in terms of gameplay has changed. There's some improvements and bug fixes. I'm not sure what you are referring to by 'alpha2', because this is still alpha2. Thanks!
The landlord thing is alpha1. That's old, it's not what what was released two days ago. 'Sissy' game mode is being redone and will be part of alpha 3, it's not out yet. Currently you can only play 'Master' mode.
