I think that's a great advice, I'll try to make the characters look more expressive.
I also thought on remaking their sprites (their faces) but first I wanted to see if they would be accepted.
As for adding romance/date routes.- since the story will be based on adventure/exploration
therefore I am planning on adding companions/allies and there will be options to romance them.
And definitely the main character will have someone a la sidekick. I wonder if You'll like him.
