This is a twine game. There is no exe, the game can be run in any web browser, using the HTML file.

Ah, I see. That is troublesome.
Partly because my Firefox all too often takes offense at games trying to play on it's browser.

...or whatever the reason is that it refuse to run games there. lol

Check your security settings, and make sure you're not running anything like noscript. You can always turn those things back on after playing, but those settings would probably block needed features for the game to run. Same with trying to do it in a private window.

I litterally have no clue what that means.
The only person worse at pc stuff than me (that isn't way old) is my half-sister.

....kinda makes me miss having a tech-savvy bf to do these things for me. *sigh*
