Ye the beam attack is possible to doge if you keep on moving away from the boss while moving from the beam but the small beams can glitch sometimes and spawn so many that its unavoidable. And the original plan was that u would have upgrades after the bosses so u could reduce or increase the reload time to make the timing easier for the shots.
