  • GDD Almost perfect GDD; everything was well laid out and easy to understand. Gameplay What a good take on the final judgment. Nothing was black and white; everything was sad and gray. Some decisions were easier than others, but every single one made me stop and think. Art There's depth in the simplicity. While the 3D models were basic, every single character could tell a story by just how they look. It's not so easy to do; good work. Sound design A simple BGM looping and a few SFX when condemning someone. It works for a slow-paced game like this because the ambiance it gives is way more important than sick beats. Last thoughts Very unique take on moral decisions. It's such a shame you had just a couple of days to work on it, and very impressive that you delivered such a good quality game. While the theme was stretched to its limits, yes, you are a weapon, but you don't act like one, just pointing to where the mouse is. This is something that can easily be expanded if you had more time. Something like slicing the condemned to seize the soul would be a nice touch. But it still counts, and I am not letting this hold back such a neat game. Great job.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
A morality-driven game where you are the weapon. Judge souls in purgatory, deciding who returns and who is lost forever. Your choices define you.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are not just wielding a weapon—you are the weapon. As an executioner of souls, your choices determine who lives again and who vanishes for eternity.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The weight of moral choices and how the game challenges players to reflect on their own sense of justice.

Well thought out character backgrounds, really makes the player seriously weigh the actions the characters took before making a decision. Well done!

Hi.  Just gave this ago.  I could see this developing further into something like Papers Please, where you have to meet a daily purge target or similar.  Congrats on submitting.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. Papers Please was one of the main inspirations for this game.
