TheHeadmaster-0.16.4Public-mac cannot be opened!!!!!!!! This is the second time that I have bought it and it did not open!! PLEASE HELP!!!

cannot be opened or it does not start? If it does not start try to run it in the main programs folder (there where apple normally put installed programs, i have no mac so i don´t know what name has it) if you do not already! Hope i could help!

Thanks for trying, but it is something that happened only for this game. I have dozens of others, so I know how to open it and play - none of this is possible with this game. I noticed that the compressed game has 7GB but the game itself has only 5,6 GB. Does anyone know what it means? Thanks

It might be to do with your security settings. You need to allow unofficial apps. If you ask in the help channel of our Discord we'll try to help. https://discord.gg/v7eNRKDZ

Impossible. I work with Apples since 1983, but I can't log in into the bloody Discord!! It just keeps going in circles!!!

I wrote a message on Discord in the help channel

I’m having the same issue. The game cannot be opened on my Mac. I’ve already tried all possible solutions, including setting the permissions (chmod +x), moving the app to the Applications folder, and even running it directly from the Terminal, but nothing works. It seems there might be something wrong with the way the game was packaged for macOS. Could you please check? Thank you!

I have also tried in many ways, nothing works. The authors probably don't care since it seems there are only a few apple users wanting the game... so I don't care, it is not my type of game anyway. Just that I paid $10 and nothing for it..

I managed to fix the issue with the Mac version of the game. The problem was that Safari was automatically unzipping the ZIP file after the download. By disabling the “Open safe files after downloading” option in Safari settings and downloading the file again, the game started working fine.

Someone in the last version recommended going to the recycle bin and putting the zip from the download back into downloads (or wherever you send your downloads.) The when I opened the zip instead of Safari automatically opening it, it worked normally for me.

I don't remember who to give credit for this but I am very appreciate.

Thank you for your help, BUT it does not work for me. Very very quickly it jumps from zip to some very basic icon and when clicking on the icon it says as usual that it cannot be opened. Does not matter, it is not my type of game anyway.
