This game couldn't come to my attention at a more appropriate time for me, considering I'm going through the exact same thing, haha (faith and sexuality wise) . The concept of this game is really beautiful, along with the art in the music. The struggle being more internalized rather than external really resonated and makes the game unique, you could be blessed with the most supportive or relaxed people in your life but it'd still be like fighting a war in your own head. The want to just be rid of it eventually so you can go about your life, feeling envious of people who can just. live. Either by letting something go or finding some way to reconcile both together and being fully at peace, and I think you captured it all beautifully.
The bittersweetness of every ending is a really good touch too imo. There are no clear answers, just choices. Doing the best you can and trying not to break under it, but it's good Romanie and Juliet have each other! Finding community especially if they end up together or resolve to remain friends and respect each other's choices is so important to highlight. I feel like most of the other comments here summed up a lot of my feelings, plus it's hard to stay coherent when you're emotional lol. Please just know that this is a really great game that touched my heart, it's something to really be proud of.
