Although we did not configure the Jam correctly insofar as judging/voting for a winner, Kiki & Boba was indeed the winner of Jump!/Toon Boom's first ever Game Jam! Apologies for not being able to feature you as the winner. We have solved this for all our following Jams.

Amazing game! I'm particularly impressed by the UI, it's really beautiful. The character art and music are also great. I've always been a fan of rhythm heaven so games like these are just *chef's kiss*. Great job with the syncing of the music and the hits :-).

Thank you!! :) I'm proud of how the UI turned out. I was inspired by the highly polished, animated UIs you often see in Nintendo games (and others, like some Sonic games) especially since the GameCube/DS era. I plan to add even more flair to the UI in the future!

THIS NEEDS TO BE A FULL GAME!!!
The artstyle is so good and appealing, and the gameplay is very intense and fun! I even hit 100%!!! 
Cons: it's too short, I wish it had more levels :)

This is SUPER stylish and very simple but fun!! I think the art style is incredibly eye-catching and the song was such a bop to listen to as well

The really tight notes were kind of a surprise, and I'm not sure if I'm wrong about this but I got the impression that sometimes Kiki would swat away 2 enemies at a time. (Not a big deal for me though, I get a better score for it haha)

Biggest complaint is that I want this to be a full game!!

And yes, sometimes Kiki and Boba will swat two enemies at a time, good eye :) That makes it a bit more forgiving if two notes are very close together, though it might seem like a bug lol!
