I like the setting and antagonist. It gives a rather basic concept a bit of creativity and I'm into that! However, like Niven mentioned in a comment below the AI needs some adjusting. A basic audio queue when the Knight is close and a bit of a speed adjustment would work wonders here. Doing that would also allow for the world to be a bit bigger to make exploration take a bit longer and make the timer a real threat.
