Are you on a particular device ?Like could it be a problem with the resolution ?Because the problem is that it's a bug you're alone experiencing and in most cases when this happens it's not related to the game itself.
Oh, I am in PC, Windows 7. The game started in windowed.
Sorry, can't help you much. This is way too weird and since this doesn't seem to be an issue with the game itself I have no idea how to fix it.
Well, I'll just try it again after a few updates.
