Hi sparkqi,

Thank you so much for taking the time to sign up for itch.io and share your thoughts and experiences. A lot of what you said about your situation reminded me of when I was in my young adulthood (like my 20s) and I put  alot of pressure on myself and sacrafice a lot of things to pursue my studies and then my career. I kept thinking that it would all be okay when I was able to find work my art field, and then it would all be okay once I found more success ect until I woke up one day in my late 30s and tired of constantly having cycles of burnout and depression. I thought it was a part of my personality, but i realize now that I'm just one that needs true time to "idle" or explore my passions for passion sake. I think it's possible to find a good balance between responsibility and self pursuits, but its not always easy and often this balance need constant adjustments. Its very worth it though and I believe you can still move forward in both your studies and your love of arts. Remember to always be kind to yourself as you would be to others. Rooted in kindness will always be when a person can really shine and do their best while thriving. There's far too much unnecessary shame in this life.

On another note, it's wonderful that you felt some of the underlying and overall feeling I was going for the  core of this ADW game. I'm so glad you found it.

Oh, oh about your comment on Beisel! Beisel is a bit of my impression of the strong, cool noona or eonni type character! Though Beisel is the younger sibling, I think she really wants a younger sibling to protect and impress. Ah, and  I'm not raised culturally Korean, I do read some Korean webnovels and comics and I like to nod to things that I'm inspired by and interested in. Most of the costume designs take from a  mix of fantasy western and eastern ideas.  I think the jeogori looks very distinctive and pretty and I'm surprised I don't see more fantasy design inspired by it.

And Awwww thank you so, so much for the artwork! Please don't be embarassed at all, I really love it! You really captured his soft boy energy <3

Best wishes and Happy Holidays~

i'm so sorry for the late reply i got too anxious/embarrassed and refused to look at my laptop for the rest of the day after posting LOL

thank you so much for reading what i had to say and for your kind words, it really means a lot to me ㅠㅠ.... it's comforting and inspiring to know that there are other people who have/had the same mindset and were able to persevere. a lot of what you just said resonated with me and i'm really so happy that it seems like you've found balance and peace in your life (or at least are on the path to doing so ! we can walk it together ^^). you're also very right about remembering to treat ourselves kindly and i'm grateful for the reminder. it's easy to neglect your wants and needs when you're so focused on something else, but i'm hoping with time such habits will be able to be broken. i hope that you will also always have a support system to make sure you're okay as well ... i know we are only strangers but i'm cheering for you on the other side of the screen ! fighting ^_^

ahhhh i thought you might be korean too!! 한국어를 할 줄 아세요? seeing what you said , i think you wrote beisel perfectly for what impression you wanted to give! she's a bit mischievous like a younger sibling but also very caring and doting in the same way a '누나/언니 figure' can be. her differing sides of chivalrous and teasing are very cute and endearing, she's probably my favorite of the main cast !! speaking of siblings, beileph also felt very strongly like an older brother/male figure... he reminded me of some of my relatives HAHA a bit awkward and focused on work/studies but you can tell he puts in effort for those he cares about and has a warm heart. you say you're not culturally korean but you totally captured the vibe of a korean office worker so you still win there ! LOL

i completely agree with what you say about 저고리 as well!! i often see traditional clothing like hanfu and kimono in designs, but almost never any 한복/hanbok... so when i saw beisel i was truly clutching my heart!!!

THANK YOU FOR THE COMPLIMENT;;;; I'M VERY GRATEFUL ! ! ! HAPPY HOLIDAYS ^^
