Yup, the fairy drops it. The shell puzzle with the turtle? There are 4 hints to find, all in B1F.

Also is nightmare the boss fight orb? Because if she is I never got an orb from her. I assume she isn't and I still have a boss to find because the only orb I have is from the sandcastle.

Correct, the last boss is after the turtle puzzle. That being said, yellow isn't the only solution for the puzzle after the pit, one of them leads to an orb as well.

Does anything influence drop rate of items from fights with monster girls? Because I've been getting pretty unlucky in the drops department. Also what drops the stripped scales? In other news my fight against the cyan puzzle continues and I still can't figure it out.

Drop rate is luck dependant, but you can get more drops by getting high combos. Fish spinning is how you can harvest scales from fishes in the ocean, you'll have to look for the green ones to get the rare scales. As for the cyan puzzle, did you solve it as yellow first? You won't be able to do the cyan solution otherwise.

Oh okay so I have to get it all yellow first then go for the cyan solution. Because I did solve for yellow and the cyan puzzle orb is the only one I have left now.
