'All that you are good for, is failure'. These, must be traumatizing to hear for someone suffering from overexpectations of oneself. But it takes humility, to make a life worth living, remembering the advice. Because in the end, is all not meant to be constructive? To make a person? Forbearance, mindfulness, is key. Vengeance, vengeful mindset or ideology, resentment, is a true menace to happiness.
What I think the Expecting is about, is the process of becoming a person - a genuine one. Like a mother expecting with a child, such - throughout a cycle of incarnations and wanderings - the wisdom within ourselves, expects patiently to manifest itself, shaping the outer form onto the likeness of an inner one, until the final shape of the void. But the inner form, must be of formidable properties and experience with the matter, in order to bestow to the outer. Until the inner form is ready, should the cocoon of binding imperfection not open, not by the rule of any external forces, but by the rule of the primordial wisdom within, in order not to shame itself with an untimely, destructive reveal. All forces are employable in the grand scheme of things, but the true mastery, is to be able to seize and transform, to fit the fulfilling purpose. To unleash, but not be able to control, is to fail. That is why, failure, is destiny of all those unready and struggling.
Failure, is common.
Expecting is a formidable Bitsy project, representing best of what the community has to offer - transcendental, digital poetry.
The soundtrack in Expecting provides a great speed to the atmosphere and exemplifies the depth a proper audio background may summon.
