Hi ! I'm a motion graphics designer + illustrator. I dabble in poetry and usually illustrate my texts ! I have a few questions :

Is it okay to add pictures / drawings to my chapbook ?
Follow up : if its okay, i'd love to collab with other peeps and illustrate some of their poetry.
Does it have to be all english ? I'm french and usually try to translate my stuff in FR + ENG !

Unrelated, thank you so much for organizing all of this, I'm so glad I found out abt this jam and I can't wait to see what comes out of it !

please make as many images and pictures as you want! because its a digital release every page could be animated. you could be making every page text laid over a video if you wanted to. it can be as plain and still as you want or as detailed and moving as you want.
it is definitely okay! i do not know how many people are open to collabs, but i can mention you in the next email so theyre aware they can reach out to you if thats cool?
no! the entire text could be in french only and that would be entirely fine. i love translations and think they are the future of poetry! french is the only non-english language i know anything about so this is personally exciting to me!
