In the mean time, I did find a way to do it.. though it's not for people who don't know what they are doing.. I did have to modify the win.dat file but I assure it was only for my own purposes of adjusting the volume levels for the three background music tracks :) so I'm playing through as I respond.
Can't wait to see the final version!
