First: this is fantastic! I love it.
But: Pause isn't working for me. When I pause and get up to care for a child I come back 15 minutes later I instantly lose when I unpause.

Thank you for your kind words about the game! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying it.
Regarding the pause feature, it seems that the timeout setting in the scene editor (which is set to 120 seconds by default) is causing the issue. If you turn off the timeout, it should work as intended.
Additionally, since the timeout feature isn’t necessary in solo mode, we plan to disable it in the next version to enhance the experience.
