Yes, there is actually a way in the game to reset the hamsters. If you're on Android, you'll find a fairly big "Unlock Hamsters" button. When you hold that for a moment, you should get a prompt asking you to confirm your choice of wanting to lock the hamster images again.
If you're on PC, things are a little bit more complicated and involve unlocking aforementioned button through means of an Easter Egg first:
- Open your phone in-game and navigate to the character bio screen (the flaming black heart)
- There, scroll down until you find Ino
- Right-click Ino's image a few times (5 or 6, I think) until it says "Something has been unlocked." in the top left corner of your screen
- Go to the hamster gallery
- Right-click the now-available "Unlock Hamsters" button to get the same prompt I mentioned above in the Android explanation
