Would u rather have thisπŸ‘†

Or thisπŸ‘‡

yeah you could just get a keycron or royalkludge under 100 usd

and then if the sound is sharp i'd just dampen it w/ some cheap material

I hate the royal kludge keyboards in general. Lemokey p1 has literally everything I want and need, with an aluminum body, and is more customizable

why are they bad?!

Upon scrutinizing the Royal Kludge keyboards, aficionados might observe that the construct's integrity is often deemed inferior relative to analogous models within the same fiscal strata, a detriment likely due to the substrates and fabrication methodologies utilized. The anti-ghosting proficiency, a pivotal feature for meticulous keystroke detection amid high-octane gaming or rapid typing, frequently underdelivers, culminating in key rollover anomalies where concurrent key actuations are ineffectually recognized. Moreover, the auxiliary software suite manifests a dearth of robustness and lacks comprehensive customization parameters, thereby attenuating the user experience, especially for those inclined towards minutely calibrating macros and RGB illumination to their idiosyncratic predilections. Additionally, the customer support matrix has been subject to reproach for its inefficaciousness, often leaving patrons in a state of perplexity when confronted with hardware malfunctions or technical conundrums. The inconsistency in the mechanical switch quality further compounds the unreliability, yielding a heterogeneous tactile feedback and an accelerated attrition rate. Despite these shortcomings, the Royal Kludge keyboards retain an esoteric assemblage of devotees, predominantly attributable to their economical viability and adequate operability for quotidian tasks.

i mean at that point might as well have a keyboard made of MIL-A-46100 steel, dampening with 2.5 mm kevlar or some aramid.

and aluminum 7039 keycaps
