Nice! I was wondering if this was dead. Glad to see an update, I really liked it.
Dan is my favourite, and I'm loving the makeover. I feel the pure white rimlight might be a bit much and kind of contrasts with the artstyle, it's so sleek while the existing art is a kind of grounded sketchy style. I might warm up to it though, and I do love what you did with the lighting on the hair and tail. That said, I don't really like the new black ui. While it looks good, it covers half the sprite and with both the top and bottom it looks kind of claustrophobic. Maybe make them transparent? That way I can see the pretty art and aforementioned tail.
Anyway, hope this doesn't come across as too nitpicky, overall I do like the updates and I'm excited for the update.
