Hi. This isn't a bug; rations has a cost of 1 energy, so using it will increase your current energy by 1.

Haha, it's easy to miss!We did play around with making Rations +1 energy for 0 cost, but rather went with it having some cost, forcing you to be mindful about when you play it!
