Well with 48hrs to make a game I really didn’t focus on the shiny animations and sound design and focused on the meat of the interaction in the spirit of brutalist web design principles
Also the simple 2010 web is mostly silent except when you ask it to play something
Lastly I wanted to make a game that works for everyone and I know how browsers handle differently sound autoplays so an absence of sounds was sure to make things work:)
